Fatal Judgment

From the publisher:
In Fatal Judgment, U.S. Marshal Jake Taylor has seen plenty of action during his years in law enforcement. But he'd rather go back to Iraq than face his next assignment: protection detail for federal judge Liz Michaels. His feelings toward the coldhearted workaholic haven't warmed in the five years since she drove her husband--and Jake's best friend--to despair . . . and possible suicide. My Review:
As the danger mounts and Jake gets to know Liz better, he's forced to revise his opinion of her. And when it becomes clear that an unknown enemy may want her dead, the stakes are raised. Because now both her life--and his heart--are in danger.
This is a book I could not put down. It was packed with a full serving of drama and excitement along with a side of a love story. It made my heart skip a beat a couple of times.
Due to the violent nature of this story, I could not recommend this book for immature readers or readers who cannot handle high-impact dangerous stories. I read it during the middle of the day, so I would not have nightmares.
As for strengthening my faith, it didn't. In fact, it didn't even further my education of the judicial system. It was however very suspenseful to the last minute.
I did like the characters in the story! They were personable and kept my attention!
I can't wait to read my of this series from Irene Hannon!Blessings to you! You are loved!
